The need for funding for so many projects in Rwanda and Uganda never slows down; Pastor training, church repairs, bikes and motorbikes for Pastors, vocational training, sponsorships, livestock and medicines. CHI has spent a record amount of your donations on these projects this year hence it was decided that, for our own good accountability, CHI should visit both countries to ensure that everything was going well and that the hard earned pennies which you have so kindly entrusted to CHI, were living their best lives supporting chosen projects in the best possible manner. So on 21 May Carmen and Pauline will be swapping life in the office for the bumpy roads of Africa.
It will be a whistle stop tour of both countries, visiting some of the projects where the money has been spent and to get a better understanding of the problems surrounding the requirements for the churches in Rwanda which have been closed due to government regulations needing to be met.
