NEWS UPDATE - JANUARY 2026

HOW GREAT IS HIS FAITHFULNESS

As we enter the New Year, we can pause to reflect all that has been achieved, and look forward with hope to what lies ahead. At CHI we do this in the knowledge that God has been alongside us through every step of the journey in 2025 and that He will continue to walk faithfully with us into 2026.

The past year has been challenging for Rwanda, with the closure of so many of their churches. Your support has enabled us to support vital ministry. Together we have achieved so much, among which, CHI and yourselves,

• have enabled the necessary formal education of 9 pastors,

• distributed over 400 bibles and additional scripture materials

Pastors and lay-readers have been equipped with 7 motorbikes and 29 pushbikes,

- Over 75,000 school lunches have been supplied and clean water made available

- Pigs and goats have been supplied to enable the poorest to support themselves whilst learning the skills of husbandry and coming to know the goodness of God’s gifts.

- 5 nurses have been fully supported bringing healing, relief and practical embodiment of God’s love. A clinic gained an incubator

- a Pastor has a roof on his home

- a disabled women’s project has received sewing machines and materials

- prison ministry has been given a huge boost

- the small children of Tumba parish are now safely enrolled in Nursery School.

- the primary school children of Rakai now have a safe and welcoming place to learn, and 574 children have come to know how good God is, bringing them the hope of a brighter future, where dreams can be fulfilled.
