The latest nursing additions to the Nurse+ project are Francoise (left) and Sophie (right).
They are based at Gikomero church run clinic and have quickly made themselves invaluable additions to the team there. Hopefully the queues will move faster and more people can be helped. Many are turned away from government clinics as they cannot afford the treatment but are welcomed at the church clinics, hence the long queues.
With more nurses the clinics will have the manpower to travel out to remote villages and give vital training for first aid, hygiene and sanitation, child health, nutrition and family planning, vital tools for a thriving village.
