This month we celebrate St Valentines Day, rumoured to be a Bishop martyred on
14 February AD269, who ministered to persecuted Christians. Showing love to the least, the lost and the last in our communities is paramount to the Christian ethos, and is key to the work of CHI in Rwanda and Uganda.
The fact that you, supporters of CHI, take this so seriously is the foundation of CHI’s success and we love you all for that.
One of our loyal supporters is a lady called Eleanor who lives in Bournemouth, she has regularly raised funds for CHI, mainly by baking cakes and offering cream tea deliveries.
On 1 March Eleanor will reach 80 years young, and to celebrate has organised a concert to raise funds for CHI. She has asked us to let you all know in case you would like to attend the event. There will be cream teas and a raffle. Entry will be by donation to CHI.

A 30 strong male voice choir called Bourne2Sing will be entertaining you at Gateway Church, 502 Ashley Road, Parkstone, BH12 3BL.
Tickets are available from Eleanor who can be contacted by email on eleanorbeardsell@btinternet.com.
Eleanor will be raising funds for the community of the parish of Rakai in Uganda including the refurbishment of Rakai Primary School. We visited the parish and school last summer and could see that the children, community and staff could benefit from some support.. What do you think?…

If you would like to support Eleanor and Rakai parish, but are unable to attend her concert for whatever reason please consider helping CHI support building needs.
You can scan the QR code below to donate directly to the CHI building fund.
