Shallon lives with her mother and siblings. The family lives in poverty as her father has moved away and her mother has a severe disability. This makes it is very hard for her to provide for the family's everyday needs. The house they live in is rented and they have no land of their own.
Shallon would love to attend school regularly, sadly she has been sent home from school many times because her school fees have not been paid. She is a good singer and enjoys playing volleyball.

Many of our supporters want to know how they can give more support and we will outline this as well, although there is absolutely no obligation to do so and we won't keep asking you.
