Shadia lives with her mother, sister and maternal grandmother. Her father died two years ago so her mother moved back ‘home’.
Shadia dreams of becoming a doctor, she is a bright girl with good self esteem, however she misses a lot of school as her mother struggles to raise the money for the school fees.
Shadia enjoys playing netball and reading books. Her favourite food is rice and fish.

Once you have signed up to sponsor a child, we will send you more information about the child, the area they live and go to school in and how to correspond with them. Many of our supporters want to know how they can give more support and we will outline this as well, although there is absolutely no obligation to do so and we won't keep asking you.
