Linet lives with her older sister and her Grandparents.
Her father deserted her mother leaving her with two small children whom she struggled to care for. She, in turn, put them in the care of their grandparents, who were already caring for 5 other children. They are poor and unable to afford school fees for Linet.
Linet is in good health and performs well at school. She hopes to become a nurse when she is older.

Once you have signed up to sponsor a child, we will send you more information about the child, the area they live and go to school in and how to correspond with them. Many of our supporters want to know how they can give more support and we will outline this as well, although there is absolutely no obligation to do so and we won't keep asking you.
