Ibrahim was born a twin, he is deaf in his left ear. He is an orphan, looked after by his paternal grandmother - she also looks after his sister and 8 other young children.He is deaf but otherwise in good health.
He likes to play football and socialises well with others.
He can follow instructions and is toilet trained.
Shared Sponsorship
Due to the additional needs of the ALS children sponsorship is £40 per month, however we are happy to facilitate sharing your sponsorship with another sponsor. Your Welcome Pack
Once you have signed up to sponsor a child, we will send you more information about the child, the area they live and go to school in and how to correspond with them. Many of our supporters want to know how they can give more support and we will outline this as well, although there is absolutely no obligation to do so and we won't keep asking you.
Aunt Louise School
The Children at this school have often been abandoned and have nowhere else to go. They have complex physical and mental needs, and because there is no welfare system in Uganda they are extremely vulnerable.
At ALS they are welcomed as one of God's dearly loved children. The School isn't run by trained medical professionals but the children have a home, a family and are cared for.
The cost of basic needs, food and basic medication requires sponsorship to be higher for these children.

Because the child benefits from the full monthly sponsorship, we have included the transaction fees we incur through our website payment processor. You can sponsor directly through the office and pay via standing order to avoid this fee.
