Day PupilElia lives with his Grandmother, his father is severly ill with diabetes and unable to work or provide for his family. His mother works far from home in search of an income leaving the children in the care of their aging Grandmother. The Grandmother is physically weak and is unable to find work to help provide for the family. Elia would like to attend school regularly but his family are unable to pay the school fees.
