Caroline's father abandoned his family, leaving the mother to scavenge bottles from the streets to sell as scrap to support her family. There is not enough money to cover her basic family needs. Her mother feels guilty that she chose a man who chose to abandon her and his family responsibilities.
Caroline is healthy and enjoys school when her fees are paid. She has only managed one term this year. She likes to play with dolls and on the swings.
She would like to become a nurse and look after people.

Once you have signed up to sponsor a child, we will send you more information about the child, the area they live and go to school in and how to correspond with them. Many of our supporters want to know how they can give more support and we will outline this as well, although there is absolutely no obligation to do so and we won't keep asking you.
