WE HAVE ARRIVED

A 2.30 am start has made for a long day but thankfully we are safely arrived in Kigali, Rwanda's bustling capital. The flights were relatively uneventful, our second flight was a bit smelly as the sluice had leaked into the carpets, not very nice at all. The lovely staff of Brussels Airlines did their best to mask the smell by spraying regularly with air freshener. They had to make the return 8 hour journey on that plane so we guess it was in their best interests too!
There was a group of approximately 35 young Rwandans, aged from 9-16 we would guess, looking very smart in matching tracksuits who had been at a Paris St Germain Football Academy competition. They had won a medal too but we did not get to find out what for. They were excellently behaved, considering how exciting that journey must have been for them.

The airport pick up did not disappoint with a back street drive along a deeply rutted red clay road - the first of many no doubt!
The hotel is great and the bathroom will wake us up in the morning!!

Thank you for all your prayers.
Now for a good nights sleep.
Praise God. We welcome you to Africa particularly Rwanda and Uganda and so, we wish you a fruitful mission.
Glad to hear you got there safe. Praying for journey mercies. Give a big Muraho to all the partners for me 😀
