Over And Out

We are now back in the UK and reunited with our families.

We give thanks to God for all we have seen, the conversations we have had, the partnerships strengthened, and the new friends we have made.

Around 36 hours after leaving our accommodation yesterday morning we will finally fall into our own beds. But as we snuggle in warm and comfortable, foremost in our thoughts will be those whose mattress is a mud floor, without a comfy pillow or a blanket to keep them warm. Those for whom the rain will not just hammer on the metal roof, but will run in through the holes, turning their 'beds' into muddy puddles. We will remember all those children sitting in classrooms, whose one and only meal of the day will be in the evening.

Next week we will begin the process of analysing all we have seen and learnt, and considering how your donations can be best used to make God visible in practical ways.

Please pray for wisdom and clarity for the CHI team, that the decisions made will show the love of God, and bring hope to those whose lives so often feel hopeless.
