Who we are and what we do...

When did Christian Hope International start? : "CHI" was established in 1994 to assist
displaced people following the genocide in Rwanda. 

Where do you work? : Mainly in Africa and India

What to you do? :  We help a wide cross section of culture, society and religion supporting
children, orphanages, education, street culture, medical and rural health and literacy projects.

What does that really mean? : It means that we send out requested aid in containers,
mainly to Africa. We organise and oversee the sponsorship of over 200 children.
We have built wells, orphanages, homes for child-led families (Rwanda) and for
the blind (India), planted trees, helped families with chickens and goats,
paid for and delivered ambulances to Africa, and lots, lots more.

Are you members of of any National bodies? : Yes, the Evangelical Alliance
and we are signatories of the Red Cross code of conduct
