Burundi

I am pleased to say we were able to visit the New Hope Centre in Bujumbura that is run by Pastor Ruben during our stay in Africa.

We were all very impressed by the setup and delighted to see the improvements financed by the funding CHI sent just after Christmas. Many thanks to those who donated to the project.

There is a video clip available showing the children and the centre - just click on the "Video Clip" icon.

A mosquitoMalaria prevention & CHI Easter Project

We were able to visit the clinic in Uganda where the funding will be going for the Malaria Prevention project and take a few photos. (click on the icons below to see some of our recent photos)

Through our contacts in Uganda we know that we can provide treatment for malaria for an adult or child for £5.00.
Prevention is better than cure and we can also provide treated mosquito nets for £10.00. The treatment would be provided through Kimywanyi Health Centre which is church founded and managed.

I am delighted to say that we have just sent the funding for Phase II.
This means that the project there is at an end - just ini time for the arrival of the container a few weeks ago.
Many thanks to all of you who made this work possible.
